These Terms of Use govern your access to the PrepMyNest website and online home-preparation assessment. By using the site or submitting an assessment, you agree to these terms.
Informational service only
PrepMyNest provides general home-preparation guidance. The site and Market-Ready Score are not a home inspection, appraisal, comparative market analysis, engineering opinion, environmental assessment, contractor estimate, legal advice, tax advice, financial advice, or promise about sale price or timing.
Conditions that are hidden, hazardous, structural, electrical, mechanical, environmental, or otherwise specialized should be reviewed by an appropriately licensed professional. You remain responsible for all repair, renovation, disclosure, listing, and spending decisions.
No guaranteed result
Real estate outcomes depend on property condition, location, market activity, pricing, buyer preferences, representation, and many other factors. PrepMyNest does not guarantee a sale, price, return on investment, buyer response, or accuracy of any automated score.
Your submissions
You represent that the information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to provide any uploaded photos. You keep ownership of your content and grant PrepMyNest permission to store, process, and review it solely to operate the service, respond to you, protect the site, and improve our assessment process.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit content you do not have the right to use.
- Upload unlawful, harmful, malicious, or unrelated material.
- Attempt to access another person's assessment or private photos.
- Interfere with the site, bypass security controls, or use automated methods to abuse the service.
Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the site at any time. We may also update these terms, with the effective date revised when changes are posted. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Disclaimer and limitation
The site is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. PrepMyNest disclaims warranties not expressly stated here. To the extent permitted by law, PrepMyNest will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the site or reliance on its guidance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
